Dear Somebody,
@Walls, @*Atlantica*, and I spent most of yesterday in the Land of the Sparkly Pink Yarn. When the three headed guardian dog appeared, Atlantica attempted to hug it, but that didn't end well, and long story short, it chased us across this disgustingly dirty river. We wandered around for a while, just looking at all the strange things, (and avoiding the dark and dank pit in the middle of everything. At least, Walls and I did, we had to prevent Atlantica from "exploring" it) and eventually found a tall black castle that appeared to be made from obsidian. When we entered that, the first thing we saw was this room full of treasure. Atlantica insisted on taking a "shiny pretty thing", Walls found a gold and silver chess board, and I grabbed a jar of pomegranate flavored sprinkles, which basically led to us being chased by something scary. Again. But still. We eventually escaped The Land of the Sparkly Pink Yarn with our treasure (and lives) although I've forgotten how.

In other news, The Egg is hatching! More cracks keep appearing by the minute, and it's shaking often. Claude has moved to the side, although he won't let anyone else near it. There's quite a line lined up to watch The Egg, actually. Apparently everyone is curious about what it's going to be. I even saw some people making bets. Mattie keeps trying to sell/give her WHAT THE HECKA to people, but after someone lost part of their toenail, no one is really eager to buy or use one. I politely declined my "free sample". And bribes to use the "free sample".

Also, @Gretel there are lots of jobs for Prophetic Dreamers! I think. You could be a...umm...a... I've forgotten what I was going to say. But I know there are lots of job oppurtunities for you. I think. A Clairvoyant Journalist! That's what you could be. Write about the news before it even happens. Or..a..um...a weather forecaster!

*a cracking sound is heard*
THE EGG IS HATCHING!!!
Claude's going to be a daddy! *Claude rolls his eyes*

Farewell for now,

Dear Somebody,
Claude's egg has grown again! It's now the size of a yoga ball. Thankfully there's a fork in the branches of the tree that can support both The Egg and Claude. There also appear to be some cracks in the shell. They're very faint, but I think it might hatch soon. Claude's going to be a father! I wonder what the kitten will look like. Claude has reassured me that it is NOT a kitten. Several times in fact. But still.

In other news, I was following my trail of blue yarn (which leads to the kitchens. I think.) to get some more sprinkles, when I came across one of my intersection points. I've been using lots of different colored yarns to find my way around the school, and there are a few places where several different colors meet in what I call an intersection point. (Also, sorry about the yarn everywhere. I know it's slightly inconvenient for people who A) Know where they're going, B) Don't know the color code system, or C) Have a tendency to trip over stuff. Like yarn on the ground.) This intersection happened to include the ominous sparkly pink yarn, and I noticed that there were footprints where the ground turns to mud. I'm pretty sure they aren't mine, partly because there was also a line that looked suspiciously like a cape had been dragged along, and mostly because I don't leave footprints when I'm invisible. So I'm following the footprints/sparkly pink yarn because it leads to something that seems suspiciously like the Greek Underworld, and it's slightly terrifying when the giant three headed rabid wolf-like-dog appears out of seemingly nowhere. And it's really hard to leave this place. *@*Atlantica*'s laughter is heard in the distance* I think I see whoever-it-is...

Dear Somebody,
I have spent most of yesterday, and all of this morning inside Claude's nesting tree with the Wood Nymph, Flora. She's been allowing me to stay in her tree in exchange for my help; Flora is a healer, and she's been teaching me some things so I can help her with patients. For example, I learned that...uh...I...that....I've forgotten. Oh well. The tree is actually quite a bit like Cobalt's cave; it's bigger on the inside, and changes to meet the needs of it's inhabitants. I'm not sure if this is the magic of the place itself, or the Wood Nymph's doing.

In other news, Claude Jr. has grown. The Egg is now the size of a rather large beach ball, and I had to help Claude move it to a sturdier branch. @Walls and Eralonia have mostly been keeping him company. I don't have as much time for board games and such lately; I've been kind of busy getting lost, going to class, getting lost, helping Flora, forgetting where I am, getting lost, and trying to find a map. Normally I just ask Walls for help, but he seems rather stressed and busy lately, so I don't want to bother him. I even found a map when I wandered into an old garage filled with vintage cars! It's a really old and outdated map, and it only shows part of Psyhigh (half of the map is destroyed), and is written in what appears to be ancient Arabic, but it's a map. I've also taken to carrying around a ball of yarn, so I can retrace my steps. Or not retrace my steps. Which reminds me, if anyone finds a trail of sparkly pink yarn, DO NOT follow it. *shudders* For a school, there are a lot of dangerous and scary places around here that should be avoided. Like where the sparkly pink yarn leads.

Dear Somebody,
Eralonia came to visit Claude a while ago. Claude refused to leave Claude Jr., so they had to play dolls in the tree. Eralonia was unable to identify The Egg; it has yet again changed colours, now it's a mix of lavender, pink, and a bright sunny yellow.

@Morris, for a while, Claude was trying to wear clothes and walk on his hind legs, but after a few days, he stopped because he said it didn't "feel natural". Although for formal events, he will wear a bow tie. As for dolls, he brings the subject up sometimes, but I refuse to get him any of his own. They're expensive.

In other news, I discovered that the tree Claude and Claude Jr. are in is home to a Wood Nymph you happens to be a friend of Cobalt. So maybe I won't have to find my way to my room; at least until The Egg hatches. I wonder what it will be? Maybe it's a kitten! Claude and Eralonia both told me cats don't lay eggs, but I'm not sure I believe them.

Dear Somebody,
I have had to move Claude and his egg. Apparently Mattie found it "weird", and has insisted that he and The Egg be removed from the room. Claude was complaining about the perfume anyway. Not quite sure where to put him and The Egg (which I have decided to refer to as "Claude Jr.") I placed them in a tree. Eggs belong in trees, right? So if anyone notices a cat sitting on a large egg in a tree, don't panic. It's not "weird". I think.

Claude Jr. has also changed colour; I noticed this before I put it in the tree. It appears to be a swirl of green, mauve, and a hue that can only be described as "Tropical Orange".

In other news, @Pacifica rescued me from the pit. Thank you! I'm really sorry about Atlantica; I hope she's ok. I visited her in the infirmary, and she seemed really happy and excited for someone with a broken arm.

Since Claude is busy, and I can't really find my way around school without him, I'm just going to hang out under his tree most of the day. He wants to play a game of backgammon, anyway. Eventually I might try to find my way back to my room. If I can remember how to get back to the school. But still.

Dear Somebody,
Claude is still sitting on The Egg. He has moved a total of three times all day, and he was never away for more than fives minutes total. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe it IS his child. Do cats lay eggs?? I've forgotten. I left him a while ago, to play Battleships with @Walls, but I haven't been able to find my way back to the room without my apparently-egg-laying-cat. I keep seeing these posters all over, but I forget what they say.

In other completely unrelated news, I heard there was a "meet n greet" today. I attempted to go to it, but I got lost. Claude was too busy egg-sitting to come with me. I've getting lost all day because of that, actually. But still.

Also, does anybody know how to get out of the pit that is inconvenient placed in the middle of the tunnel behind one of the stoves in the kitchen? Because I may or may not be stuck. And my powers aren't working in the pit. I'm not sure which kitchen it is though. Help would be appreciated; I've been in here for more than an hour and am running low on sprinkles. (All I have left are Sherbert flavored ones, and I don't really like those as much as the other flavors.) Or maybe someone could get Claude, and watch The Egg for him?

Dear Somebody,
I was woken up extremely early this morning by a screeching sound outside my window. It was quite horrible and loud, and there are even a few cracks in the window pane. It sounded like whatever made the sound was large and possibly dangerous, so naturally, I opened the window. Sitting outside on the window ledge was an egg! It's rather large and leathery, about the size of a basketball, and is a strange combination of three colours; brown, grey, and chartreuse. Claude liked it immediately, he's even taken to sitting on it. To be honest, he looks slightly ridiculous, but don't tell him I said that. He's treating it like it's his own child. Maybe it is. Although, I don't think cats lay eggs. But still.

In other news, since I was up so early, I thought I might as well do something productive, so I built a small nest like contraption for the egg, and made it so that Claude is comfortable sitting on it. We're currently playing a game of Pachisi. Claude's winning. *yawn* I think I'll go back to bed in a little bit.

Dear Somebody,
Everything appears to be back to normal. Or, at least, as normal as Psyhigh can get. But still. I've noticed that there are lots of new students recently; they seem to be popping up all over. Literally, in some cases. Actually, I think I scared one. I was just walking down a hallway, when I flashed into visibility, and this kid who had been hovering saw me and crashed into the ground. I think it was @Daenerys. I would have stopped to help him, but he seemed kind of freaked out, so I just kind of turned invisible and quietly left.

In other news, I was woken up this morning by @*Atlantica* bouncing into my room asking @Matching by Mattie if there was anything else she could clean and if Mattie knew how to sew costumes. When she noticed I was awake, she called me "Purple-Green-Invisi-Cat-Sprinkle-Girl", and she referred to Claude as my "sidekick". The name she had for Mattie was even longer. But she brought pastries with sprinkles, so that was nice.

Also, Claude and I went to S-Al today, because he wanted to get a book on...um...I've forgotten what. But still. So I talked with @Pacifica, but she seemed kind of upset, and a lightbulb shattered when Morris walked by to restock shelves. I gave her a jar of chocolate flavored Emergency Stress Sprinkles before Claude and I left.

Oh! And Mr. Belka says that my pronunciation has improved, and I no longer need tutoring! I was even able to formally apologize to the brown squirrel I had inadvertently threatened.

Fortuna Strikes Back

7/3/2015 8:36pm

This is bad, this is really really bad. This is terrible! I..I- what was I talking about? I can't remember, I.... Wait, ok. I, I remember now. I think.

After my last entry, I snuck into my/Mattie's room to grab my special sprinkles; a jar given to me by someone who didn't really like me very much. I was only stopped from eating them by Claude, but I saved them in case in might need them. Like now. These sprinkles are infused with psychic energy, and permanently trap who ever eats them in the 57.8th dimension, a place where only souls can live; the body of whoever eats the sprinkles stays behind in this dimension. I thought that if I could trick Fortuna into eating them, Mattie would be de-possessed, and Fortuna couldn't re-possess her. Or even get back to Forever. But while I was grabbing the sprinkles, Fortuna came into the room, and...and it was horrid, and she was about to... and then... And then... @Walls appeared, and he... He possessed Fortuna who was possessing Mattie. Or... He possessed Mattie while being possessed by Fortuna? Or Fortuna is possessing both him AND Mattie?? I don't know!! But now Mattie's body is passed out on the floor, and I'm afraid to give Mattie/Walls/Fortuna the sprinkles in case it banishes both Fortuna AND Walls, or even all three of them!

All I can think to do is to go to the catacombs and make sure everyone's alright there, and maybe find someone who knows what they're doing and can make a real plan. But I don't know if I can even find my way without Claude! And I...I don't know where he is either! Maybe Fortuna's right, and this is all for nothing. We're all just going to-- *Nobody sees something out of the corner of her eye* Wait... Is that...? It's Mattie's Whisper Fly! Maybe... Maybe it will lead me to the catacombs? *whisper fly makes a buzzing sound and zooms out the door with Nobody following*

Fortuna Strikes Back

Dear Somebody,
I have NO idea what is going on below the school. I should have gone with Claude and @*Atlantica*, but... I just... Couldn't. There must be something wrong with me. I've forgotten how long we've been waiting here, @Walls and I, just kicking our heels and waiting for the others to arrive. I've been invisible, and Walls hasn't been using any projections. He's trying to save his strength, and I also have the foreboding feeling that we would be best unseen. I've run out of sprinkles, and I'm having trouble concentrating. I keep pacing back and forth on the ceiling; Walls says it giving him a headache. He wants to go ahead and try to de-possess Mattie and then somehow fix it so she can't be RE-possessed, but I want to wait for the others. And we have NO idea how to prevent Fortuna from just repossessing Mattie! And if Claude isn't here... I'm afraid I'll forget everything, and mess it up, even with the book and Walls. And what if she sends me or Walls to Forever? Or worse, puts me in the closet again? And while she can't stuff Walls in a closet, she can reapply the paint. We can't watch everywhere! *starts sobbing* It's hopeless! If the others were in any position to leave the catacombs, they'd be here by now. Not to mention that all my special sprinkles are still in my room! Fortuna will probably take them all for hersel- My special sprinkles! Of course!! I have a plan now. I think. But... I wish Claude was here. I hope he and the others are ok.

Farewell for no- *school shudders and peices of the ceiling fall* That can't be good...
