Children’s Circle Summer Session

Well I just flew in from Main Roost HQ and boy are my arms tired!

Ha ha that's a joke. Because the tawny wings are on my shoes!!!! They are really great once you get the hang of them.

Anyway, Main Roost HQ is near the top of the World Tree. And let me tell you things look pretty interesting from up there!

First, yes, that original set of the New Children's Circle Summer Curriculum books were completely bogus. Please return all copies to my information station in the cafeteria at lunch. And what ever you do DON'T READ THEM. And especially don't read them if you start to feel a little twiggy.

In exchange, I have the NEW New Children's Circle Summer Curriculum books, straight from the printer, Busy Beaver. I saw an advance copy and it's much more what you'd expect -- old timey drawings of Anything Owl in his nest, Anything Owl showing the little children the way out of the darkness, Anything Owl smoking cigars in the clearing with Super Skunk and Rabbit-to-be.

Frankly, it all may be a bit *too* old fashioned for kids these days. But if he keeps handing out these flying shoes he's BOUND to get a great following. Because they are AWESOME! All you have to do is become an Anything Owl Ambassador. Which involves some secret rites and stuff but trust me it's nothing to worry about.

Visit me at my table in the cafeteria for more information!

I have a prepared statement to read:

Anything Owl is our friend. Anything Owl is our brother-sister of the night. Anything Owl is the fleet wind that takes us home to roost.

We suggest you make peace with Anything Owl. Anything Owl loves us all. Anything Owl lives so deeply in the nest. The twigs flutter and Anything Owl is here.

All the children love Anything Owl.

I know we're not supposed to indulge the fantasies of the young people at Children's Circle, but has anyone been hearing about "Anything Owl?" The kids keep talking about "granting their wishes" but when I ask to play along they change the subject.

@Derrick Frampton hasn't woken up for a week and they think it's a psychic virus he picked up at Children's Circle and I just don't want that to happen to me. So if anybody else has been hearing about "Anything Owl" I think we should all share and spread it around as much as possible. How do we play?

Wow am I beat! But so happy to have made it to the final 13 winners of the Children's Circle Summer Session psychic childminders crew. And my apologies specifically to Brandi, Cecelia, Allan, and Joy. I'm sure you know it was nothing personal and the Psyhigh nurses will have you all right as rain soon. And to everybody else in the 33 who didn't make the final cut.

After being formally inducted and led blindfolded to an undisclosed location in the catacombs, we've got our bunks and will get to start with the little psychic tykes this week. Sooooo looking forward to it, and to working with @Annie Sweet and the rest of the team!

That sounds like exactly the kind of summer opportunity I am interested in, @Ms. Hazeltine. What are the requirements to be a psychic childminder for the Children’s Circle Summer Session?

You know that word for when you’re outside on a clear night looking at the reflection of the moon on a window and you feel little raindrops?

We learned that word in Children's Circle but now I can't remember.
