I keep so much bottled up inside.

Ran into old Entropy Eddie, where things end up leaning towards chaos with a threatening hint of decay on his breath.

So I'm out hopping from chunk to chunk as usual, reining things in, steering small herds when I can. The the reality flotsam starts to go all pear shaped, hunks bumpin into each other, escaping their reins and getting all out of hand. Then you look down and notice the couple of chunks you're standing on starting to lose their structural cohesion and fall apart, and you're like why did I even get up this morning? And how did I get here? And where am I, anyway? Necessitates a whole new outlook!

I met a Canning Wizard the other night by the name of @Mason Jarr and I'm going to see what I might learn from him regarding some approaches to escaping this morass.

I trapped Entropy Eddie in a jug and corked it. All I had to do was put a dead fly in there and wait. Soon enough, Entropy Eddie just had to know what was in there, tickling his nose like that. As soon as he slipped inside that jug I bottled him up, and gave him to @The Cloven Kid.

Eventually that jug will shrink down to a growler, then down to a juglet, then down into a little doll house prop, then get so small you can't find it at all.

But ol' Entropy Eddie will come back. He always does.

Bottling up the Lunar Eclipse tonight. Will be available for purchase tomorrow at noon outside the cafeteria. Look for me, @Mason Jarr, and @The Cloven Kid at the tables in the commons.

I’ve never done this kind of preservation before. Can you provide some suggestions for first-timers?

Well, anybody can do it @Meghan Carlson, because all it takes are are few simple objects you can find in your own home, or your neighbor's home if they're not around.

THINGS YOU NEED:

A jar with a lid
A memorable catch phrase
A preternatural focus

THEN:

Clean your environment. Remove trash, put away plates, sweep.
Place the desired ԍxᴉoɼocnƨ into the jar, using the appropriate tool.
Seal it up!

Many people discover they've already been doing this for years but did not realize it.

My great aunt made super spicy pickles, and people said you could live forever if you kept on eating them. But they were so spicy nobody could ever get through a jar.

I was sent off to school with a case of them. Me and all my cousins. We keep trying to get rid of them.

Come to the Fall Canning and Bottling Spectacular this Friday, the first quarter of the moon. You might think the moon is just a quarter full when it’s “first quarter” but really it just takes just two of them to make a full moon, right? But shouldn't that be a half moon?  Since that is what it will be on Friday. 

Anyway, we'll be in the commons all afternoon! Come to buy, come to sell, come to swap! Everything must go!

It was great to be able to get a chance to work the table at the Fall Canning and Bottling Spectacular and learn all about all the aMAZING different recipes and specimens out there. @Juliecat Dunbar sold off the last of her bottles of Lunar Eclipse (it stays perfectly preserved), but nobody wanted to go near that jarred up Entropy Eddie that @The Cloven Kid was trying to get rid of. On the other hand, people couldn't stay away from the Gravitational Eddie that @Mason Jarr had in a bottle. But nobody wanted it once they learned what it was.

But what flew out were @Dale Purdy's great aunt's pickles. You never tasted pickle so spicy. Or sour. Those sold out quick.
