Letters from Ho:
Hi! I come from Ho, a place that is not on our map, but near Indonesia. In this series, I would post:
Instead of Children's Circle, what did I do?
What brings this newcomer to Psyhigh?
A tour of Ho culture

Aside from doing that, I would stay and socialize about Psyhigh.

Introduce Yourself

Came from nowhere. Well...Somewhere secret. That secret place believes in many things derived from this New Age thing.

Including:
witchcraft
crystal magic
crystal ball reading
PSYCHICS

Psychics. I want to be a psychic. So I was placed here by manifesting to have a safe spot to be a psychic and not be bothered by the rich, who makes fun of us.

I feel so lonely because I wasn't in Children's Circle.

Hope you respect me as a newcomer.

I'm relatively curious about other worlds. I recently read @Za-hel Agadz's tips on how to survive in the Na'asho-bilai (Hollow Earth) tunnels/dicha'a-n, his world.

So I'm about to show you mine.

So basically, how Ho society works is that people are divided into "Etei" (et-ae): classes, but more like castes. You can't escape your etei, and each etei has it's own religion and house design.

The peasants (ME!): live in plains, believe in a pantheon full of gods, and do ceremonies like bonfires. Usually, peasants NEVER hear about the rich. They just hear a tiny bit about the middle etei (Nirat), who is primarily mystical.

Nirat: believe in everything from crystals to tarot, including PSYCHICS. They wear dresses inspired by personality crystals. When I see them, I want to be them. And that took me to PsyHigh. Main house material: terracotta. Crystal healing and clairvoyance spots were all west of me. Nirat hear EVERYTHING. Everything about every etei, ridiculing the peasants and manifesting to be the rich.

Torak: Top figures in society. I heard from the nirat that they SEGREGATED us into etei. The torak believe in one god, who works to keep them at the top of society. I wish they didn't exist, because I wanted to escape my etei.
The Torak hear about other etei, in a condescending way.

(If this is against Psyhigh "rules" to introduce something that isn't connected to canon, please let me know.)

I just roleplay here. I use this to bridge the world I'm making to this world of Psyhigh.

How can you join Cold City Witch scholarships? I'm super interested, as a wannabee psychic, clairvoyant, or witch.

Instead of children's circle, I attended a school called Pamik Forest School, earning me the nickname "Jira, Earth Elemental".

Until this happened:
When I was 5, Dad and I watched the news together. I exclaimed "I want to be one of those mysterious guys. (psychics!)".
Dad told me that job is not for my etei (caste), but for the hirat (working-middle caste).
He told mom about this and kept me in school. Mom didn't know what was going on until I was 7. My nickname changed to "That annoying wannabe crystal healer." or "That annoying wannabe psychic.".

It's the MEDIA that was causing this desire.

When I was 7, we had to have huge "family censorship" rules:
No viewing other etei.
No distracting content at "education time"-which was weekday mornings.
No going out of the forest I lived.
No mumbo jumbo, or not the gods we believed in.

When I was a teen, Mom forgot the original plan of such rules. It was weird being first taught about diversity at this age.

I frequently wear my lapis dress to Psyhigh.
