In the brochure when I enrolled it said something about living in space and eating spacefood and monitoring the psychic health of the world and using rays and stuff.

When is that happening and where can I sign up?

There are still slots available for the Psychic Space Station study abroad program starting in just a few days! And by "slots" I mean literal tubes for you to sleep in on the Psychic Space Station. But there's plenty to do onboard when you're not having your dreams monitored.

Students will receive full credit for their time spent learning on the Psychic Space Station, and it's an excellent opportunity to meet and mingle with the best and the brightest from all the Psychic High School branches worldwide, and beyond.

I myself may be making an appearance on the station later in the month, as @Seketus Reed and I are tentatively planning a reconciliation rendezvous in the Eros suite on the promenade deck. IF Seketus can work it into his oh-so-busy schedule.

Sincerely,

A. Hazeltine
Student Activities Coordinator

Yes I'd like to change my room assignment on the Psychic Space Station? Currently the manifest says my roommate is going to be @Arceus the Evoker and really I promise I've got nothing against Evokers but Arceus is just kind of high energy and honestly that's not a good mix for me.

First day on the Psychic Space Station and I am happy to report that the views are even better than in the brochure. And the artificial gravity is keeping most of us from getting space sick.

The station is quite large, and bustling with technicians and managers with pocket protectors. Many of them don't appear to be from Earth.

Most of our time has been spent in orientation -- tours of the different levels, extraterrestrial cultural sensitivity training, intro to shortwave mind control -- and of course getting acquainted with the "spacefood" the station is known so well for.

And there's a mixer tonight for all the visiting students with some kind of alien lo-fi dj. Good thing I brought the right clothes!

Work on the Psychic Space Station has been about what I imagined. We've visited the Compassion Bay, the Feel Good Room, and the Satisfaction Generator. The "stars" are the engineers who specialize in emanating different kinds of positive energy. They come into the room with their flowing hair and fancy scarves and everybody goes crazy with fandom (in a low key scientific way). Then they usually take a bow or acknowledge the crowd in some way and take their seat in the apparatus and strap in and start beaming.

Well, the actual "beaming" is a whole other department--where they make the rays and beam them down over the earth. That's the part I'm waiting for.

The lo-fi beats mixer dance on the Psychic Space Station was pretty much the most awesome experience of my life so far.

I've been to lots of chic events. I'm from Psyhigh Dragonera, near Majorca, and my parents are both Psychic Ambassadors. And while I've grown up at all the best parties on Earth, this one totally takes the cake.

They turned down the gravity a notch or two -- or maybe that's just how I was feeling! Floor to ceiling windows all along the observation deck, the whole of the Earth showing through, and everybody dressed up in their snazziest space station dance clothes. I'd never felt more at home in my life!

Plus, made friends with a cute little Moon Elf named Quix. And no they DON'T mind being called Moon Elves because I asked. Amazing dancer. We made plans to hang out again soon.

Looks like I’ve got a room to myself since @Arceus the Evoker never showed up and the rumor is they got detained by the PsyCops. Which is great news for me because I’m starting to get that feeling and it’s best to have privacy while my body starts to revert to its natural form.

Nasalite and I have already been assigned another big case. Transdimensional fugitive @Arceus the Evoker has escaped Psy Corps custody and fled to the Psychic Space Station. However, through an accident involving hyper-semantic doubling during the teleportation process, Arceus has been split into two distinct beings. So now there are two of them loose on the station.

Unlike prior instances of such teleportation accidents, Arceus seems to have been split into two identical copies, rather than polar opposite personalities [REF: Stardate 1672.1] and thus is twice as troublesome as before.

Nasalite has started snorfling around the station, and we expect to pick up on at least one of their trails shortly. Given Arceus' erratic nature, there will likely be a wake of chaos to follow as well, including littering, lack of tipping, and maniacal laughter.

So as not to create a panic on the station this is an undercover operation and I'm working out of uniform. Nasalite has donned a large mustache and glasses in order to keep our presence on the station as quiet as possible.

Finally made it to the beaming chambers. My brother and I used to do this with a big antenna we hung off the bluffs over our hometown. We took turns being the one in the apparatus. Neither of us were very good at that part, which is why we got sent off to Psyhigh. Drove our whole town nuts. Literally.

But we were real good at the beaming part. I'm sorry he's not here with me today.

The deflector arrays they use on the Psychic Space Station are incredibly high powered, but the underlying principles are the same. It's possible my brother and I had even better underlying principles, but that's what I'm here to find out.

One thing I noticed is they've got feeds coming from two different sources. I can see the inputs from the generation bays we've visited, but there's a whole other bunch of conduits coming up from below. I wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for Space Cat checking them out. The cat that won the space lottery. It headed off down an access tube and I decided to follow.

It's weird to have so much in common with an elf that lives on the Moon.

Quix isn't like an "elf" elf, like with swords and magic or shoemakers. The Moon Elves get their name because they are very short (Quix isn't even two feet tall) and have greenish skin and pointy ears and noses and long fingers. So you can see how people might confuse them but they're not "elf" elves.

But we do both come from, well, I don't want to say "rich" but "upper middle class" families that are sort of overbearing and hard to live up to. I mean, I really enjoy weekends at Hilltop on Laucala with my parents, but sometimes I just want to break away! Do my own thing.

Quix totally gets that. Enough ice boarding trips to your own private mountain on Europa and anybody would get bored, even with the Jupiter view.

Quix says there's a cool place on the Moon that nobody knows about that's perfect for people like us.

Quix wants to take us there. And knows how we can borrow a shuttle so nobody knows.
