I have a question about the Squims. So they clean up the toxic earth, and create nutritious smelling waste to feed the flowers in our garden, and then we can just forget about all that stuff that happened, or is still happening, in the world.

But what happens to all that toxic stuff? I mean, it DID exist. So do the Squims transform it entirely into nutritious smelling waste? Or are they storing it up in their bulbous silver bodies? Are they toxic or can we eat them?

I got shanghaied by the Compost Mafia. With their so-called secret airstrip out beyond the soccer field. They put a sack over my head and threw me into a plane and I woke up at an airbase in the jungle, where I was put on a team digging out a sacred burial ground. We filled containers and loaded them on the plane and came back. Tomorrow we put the soil on the roses.

I have a complaint about the Garden of Live Flowers. They bite too hard! These are not the little love nips we were shown on the tour. The triangle blue ones with green and black stripes especially. I had to get a bandaid and a poultice from the woods woman. She says their bitey nature is on account of what they're fed. And what's buried under them.
