Elias Bennett, originally here they put me in a room in the cellars with nothing but stacks and stacks of "phone books," and I said "What are these? I do not know of such lame things! What is the wi-fi password?" but then I got quite bored and the only thing to break up the days was the scrapey scrape of the little metal tray with the food being slid under the door, so I started reading the "phone books" and you know what I discovered is that they are filled with beautiful words like Deidre Thomas and Carole Camancho and Dirk Elvenwood the Smiter of Giants, and interesting combinations of numbers like 307-555-0198, and after many days with nothing but the buzz of the single electric light and occasional visits by a rat I named Morgan, I discovered that, using my own inspired gematria, I could discover the secret messages hidden within the beautiful names and numbers, and through these secret messages I am building a ladder that will help me escape through the tiny hole in the top of my high-ceilinged cell where the rain gets in, and stops my mind from wandering.
