Are those pixies in the garden?

Dear diary,

The moondial in the courtyard across from the willow tree shows a Waning Crescent.

Unfortunately for us witches, this means that the New Moon is just a few days away. It's so frustrating that our powers don't work under a New Moon, how am I supposed to have fun if my powers don't work?

Anyway, I know I shouldn't have but I ditched Gemology class to explore the garden. Turns out, it's connected to a dense forest which is home to many rare and magical creatures! As much as I wanted to stay and explore, I had to make it back in time for my next class. Tease me if you wish but I'm a good girl who's never ditched class before, I'm telling the truth. Just because I skipped Gemology class doesn't mean I'll start skipping Potions, or Merfolk History, or Spellcasting class!

Moving on, I'm proud to say I stayed on track and managed to find a trail of tiny, wooden MOGGA signs. They were so small and cute I had to be careful not to step on them. I spotted pixies in the distance but they were hard to see because the father I traveled into the forest, the foggier my surrounding became. I heard squealing and I wonder if it came from them. I'm not sure if they're alright or not, they were deep within the fog and I was only able to see them due to their iridescence. Additionally, I found the source of the yodeling: a cottage encompassed by Alpine Aster, I walked passed it on my way back to school. I know for a fact somebody lives there because I saw smoke coming out from the chimney!

Needless to say, I'll definitely be returning soon.

Sincerely,

Your favorite Witch

I agree with your grandmother, @Golden Jimenez

Whenever one mixes magic with mechanicals something is bound to go wrong. But according to my memory, The Psy High Driver's Guide mentioned to use Witchfinder GPS with caution. Unfortunately, however, it didn't specify how to.

Despite being a witch, I don't know quite much about Witchfinder GPS nor have I ever interacted with it but I imagine it'd be useful, right?

Dear diary,

It has been three days since I heard yodeling and I'm still eager to learn more.

I suspect I'll have to take on the role of a detective and inquire more information about the stranger, the pixies, and our school's enchanted gardens. Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether or not I'll have time to do that especially since I have to study for an exam for my Potions class next Monday.

Personally, I like learning more about Potions than Gemology. It's far more fascinating to mix elixirs and herbs than it is to take notes about gem formations. Potions class is incredibly interactive and reminds me of the potions my father would make by hand and trade at the markets back at home.

Additionally, I don't have much to say about that certain special someone who I care too much about. No, I won't tell you their name in case you're wondering. They haven't noticed me yet but I still have hope. Anyway, I saw an advertisement for Rubellite in the school newspaper. Apparently, a nearby shop is selling them but I have to find a way to get there.

Also, I've spotted something new in the enchanted garden: a sign.

It's made from wood and was painted by hand it appears. Painted on it are big, bold, purple letters that spell M-O-G-G-A. I wonder if this is connected to the yodeling I heard a few days ago. I'm not quite sure what it all means but I promise myself I'll investigate as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Your favorite Witch

I'm new here but as a witch myself I think I can help you answer this one.

The answer is b) Activate Witchfinder GPS

When witches are searching we occasionally float and/or levitate to help us get around faster. Also, its easier to float above the water instead of swimming through it. In this case, the witch was floating to find her children as soon as possible.

Dear diary,

I spy with my big green eyes a stranger in the garden. Who they are, is a mystery.

Gemology class wasn't as fun as I hoped. I desperately wanted to see and touch pretty gems like Opal and Rubellite. But mostly Rubellite. I have to get my hands on some Rubellite to create my love spell. Yes it true, I must confess I think I love someone. They don't know I exist yet but with a love spell, they might. For now, I'll keep their identity a secret because the last thing I need is other students finding out.

Anyway, while walking back to my room once classes were done for the day I heard something peculiar. Of all the sounds one could hear I never thought yodeling would be one of them at our high school. Curiosity got the best of me so I walked towards the nearest window in hopes to see the source of this noise. There stood a stranger, who definitely wasn't a student, waving their arms to and fro. It looked like they were shooing a mosquito away until I realized it was a pixie!

I don't know who they are but I hope they aren't hurting those precious pixies. Maybe I'll speak to them but only after I get a better understanding of who they are. Afterall, mother always told me to never talk to strangers.

Sincerely,

Your favorite Witch

Dear diary,

Today is no ordinary Monday afternoon because I believe I may have spotted pixies!

Maybe my eyes deceived me but hopefully not. I've only ever read about them in my mother's book of Enchanted Creatures. Back at home, deep in the mountains of Drisdell where I grew up, I recall reading mother's many books she kept in her secret library. She kept her library hidden in a cave using charms to conceal its location.

Pixies were one of the many creatures one could find wherever Alpine Aster grows according to what I remember reading. Alpine Aster, in case you don't know, is one of my favorite little flowers. It blossoms in shades of light purple and pink, it's beautiful.

I first noticed these pixies while walking through the corridors on my way to gemology class. As much as I adore the tall stained-glass windows in the corridors, I was more focused on the view outside. The view was this vast garden with Pine Trees and Ferns and of course Alpine Aster. Then that's when I saw it. A spark, a shimmer, a small bright light that moved quickly between branches. A tiny pixie flying by.

Sincerely,

Your favorite Witch

Dear diary,

My name is Serafina Wolfsbane of Drisdell, it's a pleasure to meet you!

The grandfather clock in the common room says it's 1:52 AM, therefore,
this marks my first night at Psychic High. The nights are cold yet do not
fret for I have a knitted wool blanket to keep me feeling soft and warm.

The moon is full and shines the brightest amongst its many little stars, I
tried to make out constellations but I don't think can. I not very good at
astronomy yet hopefully I'll learn how to. The walls are very tall and the
ceilings are rather high, they're higher than the ones at home yet some of
the most beautiful chandeliers hang from them which beautifully light
up the corridors. As for those tall walls, dozens of portraits and landscapes
of people I don't know and places I've never seen decorate the hallways.

Sincerely,

Your favorite Witch
