I am Scarlet Rosa Mallarme. 14 years old and just counting down the days until I'm finally free. I discovered that I could read people's minds and use telepathy and telekinesis at a young age, maybe 4 or 5. Once, I made all of the cabinets in my kitchen fly open, making everything in them fall out and break. Another time (all the time), I was able to cheat on my math test(s) by reading the mind of the smartest person in my class. And finally, my best friend, Dace, and I use telepathy to communicate with each other all the time. I get called Scarlet Witch all the time by my enemies, and if anyone asks, it was my name before it was hers. Dace, he's a different story. I trained him how to communicate through telepathy, and other than that, he's the most popular kid in my grade.
