Oh hey if any of you guys need me i'll be in the library, studying the story that @Z Lons provided helpfully for us. I'm pretty sure i read something along those lines a while ago...If i'm not in the library i'm in my room practicing up on guitar. It's been a while since i've played any instruments so i'm a little rusty...but ya thats pretty much my plans for today.

Add a journal entry to Let's Start A Band

HELL YA! I have heard that there is the Goddess of Rock's guitar down there...and why not? Inspiration can be found anywhere. I apologize for leaving you guys yesterday,I try to be in bed 5 minutes before curfew,so i'm not tempted to break curfew. Anyways i have a few flashlights,snacks,rope....everything for an adventure. Even a map of the school...and 20 packs of batteries. Yup,all set! Luckily i don't have anything really IMPORTANT in any of my classes...kind of a free day for me,anyways.

Yes, snakes are welcome!

I hope you can watch!

(Ps, SOULS ARE THE EXACT THING THAT MAKES IT INCREDIBLY CREEPY AND POSSIBLY DEADLY TO US!!!!!!!!!)

Lucille, I choose to believe in the power of MEGAROCK ULTRA.

And, the scroll said we just need to find it, not re-summon Travolta.

So, if anyone's up for an adventure, I'm going to search for the sickest drum machine of all time. @Crystal Rosethorn, you in?

P.S. - @Serpentes - Hand out whatever you want. Snakes are welcome, I'm assuming.

P.P.S. - A drum machine now powered by souls, I might add. SOULS! How is that not awesome?

I can't raise my voice above a loud whisper, so I'm afraid I wouldn't be much good as a singer, @Z Lons. But you can count me in to be at your show. I'm sure I can round up a few of my brothers and sisters in the fellowship to pass out our informational brochures, if that would be okay.

And it will be warm, right? Lots of body heat? And dancing? We love watching them dance.

That... that is a horrifying story. Let's forget it ever happened! History is history. . . There is no needn't to look for this 'hidden machine'. We don't need to get involved in dangerous situations. Nope. No-sir-ee.

We personally don't need to summon gods or do rituals or find this machine. Nope.

And it's probably all fake... probably never happened... yup

LETS JUST FORGET ALL ABOUT IT!

I've decoded the scroll.

THE TALE OF MEGAROCK ULTRA

It was in the old times, the year 1983. Hair was big, discotheques were in, and three dorks were looking to change their fortune.

Ned Schmidt of Schenectady, short in stature and bountiful in acne.

James Goldstein of Brooklyn, long in limbs, player of Dungeons and Dragons.

Mike Christensen, with greasy hair and cracking voice.

The three were not popular. Shoved into fractal-dimensional lockers, pushed around by jocks from Lower Hell 59, ignored by the pretty demigods. So they wished to become popular.

They spent the night looking through the deepest depths of the Library, searching for the spell or ritual to make them as they wished. Finally, they happened upon a scroll with an ancient proverb:

"To be most popular in all the land,
Thou shalt only start a band."

They knew what they had to do. Using a forbidden ritual, they summoned the Dark One, Travolta, God of Disco.

It was thus that they negotiated a bargain, that in return for the most bitchin' drum machine of all time, MEGAROCK ULTRA, they would give up their immortal souls.

As they sealed the bargain, they forgot Travolta's wickedness, and he imprisoned their souls within the machine.

MEGAROCK ULTRA lies somewhere deep in the sprawling campus, locked away, it's totally sick beats to never be heard again.

Unless some clever student were to find it, of course.

Well love songs. Sunday girl by Pat benatar,In The flesh, prisoner of love, stuff like that. NO "don't go breaking my heart" That song is SO annoying. I'm not going to sing THAT duet, but i will sing one. Anyways that's what i suggest for V-day. For the drive? Songs everyone knows,Like Old time a rockin' roll,I love rock and roll, simple stuff. Hotel California...etc,etc.

Fine... who do you suggest we show exactly?

Crystal Rosethorn

Well...yes currently you are. Safety shouldn't matter in the name of creativity i think. ANYWAYS We could show one of the experts...and what i mean is more an ancient spell,or a forgotten one. The scroll looked fairly old,so i suggest one of or history teachers here, maybe. Maybe one of the scrolls of Arden. or a scroll of GODS! THAT would be cool!
