I've been stuck inside for a while. Not by choice, of course. I was snowed in. I'm not entirely certain "snow" is the right word, but suffice it to say something heavy, cold, and wet is blocking the door out.
It's so cold the windows are stuck shut too. Although, it's rather warm in here. And there don't seem to be any heating vents. I'm starting to think it's not cold, and that's not snow, since it hasn't melted even a bit.
So I've decided to grab this duffel bag I found by the "snow"-blocked door towards the beginning of my isolation and climb out a window. I have some Christmas lights left, I had planned to string them around before that I can climb down on. I'll break the window in the furnished room, not mine.
Also, something to note: the duffel bag was full of crystals, candles, small glass bottles both empty and full of things I can't identify, and a small plant I've been watering. It smells like herbs. Kinda like stew, although I have no memories of ever eating stew.
Anyway, if you were already stuck in a pocket dimension and see a door blocked by a cold and wet mass and an upper window with Christmas lights handing out, I'll be somewhere nearby. Also, you should probably run.

Add a journal entry to The Horrible Indoors.

Who are all these people in my house? There was a racket and I followed a line of Christmas lights to the closet-we’re-not-supposed-to-open and I opened it and it is full of kids! Having a Christmas party! They are speaking some backwards talk and I can’t get a straight answer but for now we’re just chillin, X-mas style.

You may have noticed that all the hall lights and room lights went out? Yeah, that was me. I found the utility room or the boiler room or whatever you want to call it and pulled the main switch! I thought it might disarm the locks on all these doors... but no such luck.

However, as you can see, it didn't turn off those Christmas lights! And now they're the only thing lighting up these dark passageways.

So remember everybody, including you in the studio audience at home, when you find a strand of Christmas lights, follow it wherever it leads -- into the little room underneath the stairs, into the crawlspace above the attic, under your sister's bed -- and keep following it and I'm sure we'll all find ourselves in the same place...

And that’s a great way for the folks listening in at home to follow along too, @Frem: No matter where you might be spending the holidays, when you see a string of Christmas lights and tinsel and garlands, give them a good yank and then follow them to into the next room and round the corner and wherever they might lead.

Maybe we can all meet up for the best Christmas ever!

Even though we can't all be together for a Christmas party, I think if we just keep stringing these Christmas lights and candy canes and stockings and oranges behind us from room to room, we'll be able to share a Christmas party together that way.

I've been leaving presents for @Lucas Arrum and @Dido Clunks and @Annie Sweet tied up in the Christmas lights too, so keep an eye out for them you guys!

Totally having one of those days where my wheel-pack keeps jamming up. For every door I open, I trip the re-lockers and get two more in its place. A few hours of that and I got my fingers slammed, then kept at it till I slammed my fingers in two more doors in a row.

Now if I can just clear my mind and find the door to the Haunted Japanese Bath I'll be able to forget about it and relax.

Oh dear, @Annie Sweet, it seems you were not fully integrated upon your arrival. Through my interface with the Spongiform Unimind I can see you've ended up in a tiny little Hilbert bubble just adjacent to Psyhigh Prime... yes I can see you there through the membrane right now!

Let me see if @Janitor Pete can puncture you a little hole. In the meantime, keep an eye out for strings of Christmas lights or candy canes leading through any doors, and if you see one, follow it! We've got a number of students lost in the warrens of passageways between worlds and I'm sure they would love to find themselves outside our local reality with you.

Sincerely,

One of my tricks, @Lucas Arrum, is stringing Christmas lights along behind me, and tinsel, and boughs and ornaments and everything else I can fit in my red backpack. That way I can always find myself back to home base, or wherever my last camp was. It also helps you know when you're re-entering a room you've already been inside of, but from a different door.

Send help. I can't get out. I'm trapped in a room. There's doors covering every wall and surface in the room. Whenever I open a door, it just leads into another room, though never the same one. What should I do?
