Why should we depend so much on our powers?
I think we should focus more on a different power:
The power of our music!

Who cares what the instruments are like? As long as they work, they should be fine!

Besides all that sounds completely against the classic rock and upbeat genre I was going for...

(Remember: it's the wizard, not the wand..... Although I did have a distant relative who was a wizard and died in a wand accident. But that's beside the point!)

This is great! People taking up on my flyer!

As for the instruments, a drive is an excellent idea!
But how do we get people to donate?

Being honest, the good in some of the student's hearts isn't strong enough to make them donate money or instruments. They need some sort of spectacle.

Maybe we can find some old instruments to play some sort of concert at the drive, y'know, to get people excited. Give them a sample of the cause they are supporting.

I think I saw an old keyboard in a closet somewhere...

(And as my talent goes. I can sing, and kind of do the keyboard.... Not the best but I know where all the notes are..... So that's something)

I want to start a band.


I realized while I was turning in my project that I LOVE music. It's my passion. And I've already proven what kind of effect it has on people! Maybe I'm going to be more social this year than I thought....

To begin my studies here, we were assigned a project to find something that has a large effect on the mass population.

I decided to take a different approach rather than doing the report on something like 'hypnosis' or most people here's 'psychic ability'

I had decided to do my report on popular music. Through my studies I found that music had a very powerful effect on people! But, because I have a certain distaste for today's music I decided to research slightly older music....

Beach boys namely.

One of my favorite songs was 'wouldn't it be nice'
The message was pretty easy to decipher after a few listens (and a few more after that for enjoyment...)

In the song they sing about wishing they were older.
That's pretty much it.
Then they go into detail about what they would do if they could be older. I started to notice how most younger people keep repeatedly wishing they were older to make more decisions and to be independent from their caretakers and judgment.

My research is much more thorough than that quick over view, but I'm exhausted from writing six pages!

Hopefully I get extra credit!
