I ordered a body cam off of Amazon last night.

I'm gonna wear it all day once it arrives, so maybe I can capture what happens when I time shift. If my physical form is doing anything while my consciousness is turned off, I'll know.

I'm waiting eagerly by the door.

Nothing will ever make me more grateful for air conditioning than the walk to and from class in the sweltering heat.

What a time to be alive, where instant relief from the elements is separated from you only by a doorway.

Well, today was embarrassing.

I time warped in the middle of class. Imagine blinking and everything in front of you violently changing. One second you're in class and the next your feet are planted on a concrete sidewalk. I checked my notebook, my notes were painfully blank, and I didn't remember the lecture at all. Maybe I'll warp back again to finish the class, but that just means I'll have to sit through the first half of class again. Not looking forward to it.

According to a classmate, when I warp my body just kind of stops existing. Where does my physical form go when my conscious is jumping the clock? I used to avoid these kinds of questions because they upset me, but I figure here is as good a place as any to explore this...ability.

I'm starving.

Lots of things for sale lately. Mom only sends thirty bucks a month, if she sent more I'd invest in a few of these trinkets. I'm starting to think that doll I found was one of @Mini Moss 's creations. I seem to have misplaced it, though, which is a shame. Maybe I'll stop by her table during lunch.
My only wish is that this influx of money doesn't upset the school's niche economy.

There was a decent amount of fog on campus today, which is odd for summer. Although I suppose "odd" isn't out of the ordinary here. The gas stung my eyes and burned my throat, so I just emailed my professor that I wasn't feeling well and stayed in my dorm. But I finished my homework, as well as my reading, so I'm bored.

I need to make some friends or something.

I found a small doll on my way to class. It was inching dangerously close to the ravenous crater that lives under the bench.

I snatched it up and almost immediately regretted it. Whatever it was made of had dried considerably from when it was first crafted, and pieces of its body crumpled in my hand. If anyone knows where this thing came from I'd love to get it home. It seemed well loved.

It's been a while.

I know I should write more often, and I think the journal agrees. It literally burned a hole through my bag, and I didn't realize until molten plastic dripped onto my ankles. I've since switched to a cloth shoulder bag.

Summer has gotten old. The homework is the same as fall classes, but you've got to do them while battling the heat. And here, sometimes you LITERALLY have to battle a physical manifestation of the heat. I'm not one for confrontation, so instead I suffer silently.

Back to homework, maybe this thing will stop pestering me now that I've written something.

The best feeling is waking up and realizing its a Saturday. The worst feeling is waking up again and reading that no, actually, it's still Friday, and you're missing class right now.

The Magic Squares

It feels kind of bad to just show up at the Magic Squares and ask for help. I'd offer my own smarts into their pool of knowledgeable tutors, but there isn't a class that I particularly excel in. I'm painfully average.

The locations the members frequent on their trips seem exotic and fun, though travel has never been my friend. Trust me, once you turn a two hour trip into a fourteen hour journey, road trips lose their appeal.

I'll visit again tonight. I've got a paper due in astronomy tomorrow and there doesn't seem to be a website dedicated to some of the planets we're discussing; possibly because they're out of our known solar system.

Ridiculous standards, honestly. It should be illegal to put that kind of pressure on a student, let alone one who's known to literally disappear under stressful circumstances.

Atrocious. I hate Oral Comm.
