So, the first thing people ask me - that is, when they'll talk to me - is "Ok, so, if you've got this power over germs, then you can just make everybody healthy, right? Like a Healer. So, all you need is a Tank and you're like unstoppable!"

Well... it's not that simple. I mean, sure, there are bad germs, but there are TONS of good germs. And really, they're all just bacteria, and not "good" or "bad," and if you start messing with them it's totally easy to get things out of balance, and generally, when things are out of balance, well, that's bad.

So why don't I just lay off? Just not mess with any of it? Well, it's not that simple either. There are just so MANY of them, and I can hear them all, like the ocean, or white noise static, or a chorus of frogs, calling to me. And so then the mind just starts to wander, and pretty soon you're not even thinking about it but the walls of your dorm room are 4 inches thick with blue green mold and you're late for class and can't find your shirt!

So, that's why I landed a room to myself.

So, as part of the deal for my scholarship (and my parole) I am supposed to keep up this school journal. So, uh, Hey Everybody! ;)

The Psyhigh kids have been really cool about me. I mean, generally they seem like an unflappable bunch. My therapist says it's understandable that I'm defensive but I've got to start trusting people and that they don't all automatically think I'm gross.

See, it's all about germs. Or that's what I'm all about. I've got that "special connection" you read about in comic books but it's to germs. Microbes, bacteria, whatever. I can make them do whatever I want, and it's called bacteriokentics. and that's why I'm at Psyhigh. There was really nowhere else to find a community of bacteriokenetics my age.

It's a pretty small community, but it's the first time I've met anybody like me. So that's cool.
