Oh dear, my ex-husband has been bullying Chip. Apparently Chip mentioned he worked with 'this pretty lady named Ally' and Brett assumed it was me and said some very mean things to him. I feel awful. None of this would have happened if I hadn't rushed ADPi.

There's that really strict Psycurity girl who is always bringing kids to me who need to be assigned detention. I think I will tell her to go to a private university.

I finally found Chip hiding in his basement. I marched his sniveling, excuse generating keister directly to the Dean, who rolled her eyes when she saw him and sent me on my way, promising a stern verbal reprimand for him. Who is this guy? Why is he teaching here?

Of course on the way out I ran into that robot teacher I've heard so much about in the teacher's lounge. He curtly bowed and then marched over to his box, removed his messages, and strode out into the afternoon as if he was delivering a pizza. What a teacher.

Finally, I have something to do! They need a teacher to co-manage the detention classroom after school. At this point I'll take it. I imagine the fact that all the boys think I'm 'smokin' hot' will make it easier, provided the other teacher doesn't complicate things. Behave, hoodlums.

I have a Ph.D. in Mythology, but when I got here I received word the school I attended had been sued into oblivion because they were handing out Ph.Ds in non-practical fields. Plus Psychic High School's board recently did the unthinkable and cut funding for their mythology program, and instead diverted the money to the arts. Insanity.

So here I am in the newly completed Richard Nixon Space Travel Wing - with a classroom, but no qualifications, no department, and no students. I will sit here waiting and smoking until they give me something to do, I suppose.

And let's clear this up - my marriage to Brett Boner is over now that the paperwork is signed. Yes, the students are all wondering, I am the 'Ally' mentioned all the time by him on 'Kallowsey and the Boner' every morning on KWLK. He did actually have his last name legally changed, and I took it when I married him. We were high school sweethearts, but it just wasn't to be. I just wish at least I had decided to divorce him before I made my login...or got that tattoo.

It's lonely in Westlake since I don't know anyone outside of Brett's circle of friends. Ugh, I should delete this post so my students won't know all this. I need a drink.
