Moving down the hall.
The carpet crunches beneath my feet.
A red stain on the wall.
A half eaten steak, abandoned on its plate.
A napkin, a fork and a spoon, longing for their companion the knife.
The knife is not here.
The bathroom.
A trembling hand reaches for the knob.
The door opens with a loud creak.
As the door swings open my eyes behold:
The steak knife, in his chest.
Red stains all around.
My body, on the floor.

I don't have a title for this one but here we go!

Eyes Open
Eyes Stare
Eyes Are Around Me
Everywhere

Body Jolts
Body Shakes
Body Can Feel Again
Electricity

Throat Sore
Tongue Heavy
Mouth Is Wide Open
Tubes

Breath Trembles
Breath Leaps
Breath Fills My Lungs
Again

I See This All As I Look Down
I See This All As I Ascend
I See This All As I Rise

That Could've Been Saved
By The Dull Clang Of Dropping Knives
