I would get so much satisfaction just to see the source of breathing.
To see what horrid beast caused me such paranoia and fear

It was a horrible thing. What I saw, I don't want to tell you what it was. I am afraid. I am so afraid. I can still hear it breathing in the corner of my mind. It is still breathing. I need to calm down. My hand is shaking.
But it was so horrid.
